Youngster Dario Meyer signs with the Edmonton Oil Kings

The Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL) have announced the signing of Swiss youngster Dario Meyer for the upcoming season. The forward is participating in the Oil Kings' training camp this week.

Dario Meyer, a product of SC Bern's junior organisation, has been drafted by the Canadian team in the second round of the 2015 import draft. Meyer spent the past season with SCB's elite team, scoring 16 points in 25 games and also appeared in four games for EHC Visp. (lcu)
