Timo Haussener will join OHL team Guelph Storm

The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers announce that young forward Timo Haussener will leave the organisation and join OHL team Guelph Storm for the upcoming season.

The 18-year-old forward, who is a product of the Lakers' organisation, has been drafted 39th overall by Guelph in this year's CHL Import Draft and thus takes the opportunity and will try his luck overseas. In 47 games for the Lakers' Elite A team, he has scored six goals and 16 assists this season. He will leave Switzerland on August 20 in direction of Canada. (mso)
