As HC Ajoie's Vincent Léchenne tells Radio RFJ, they will not extend the contract of Timothé Tuffet. The team manager of the Ajoulots mostly cites his inconsistency as the reason for their decision.
"In our opinion, he is not a player that has a lot of room for improvement left", says Léchenne. "We did not want to keep him if we did not have a role to play for him." He also revealed that first league team HC Franches- Montagnes is interested in acquiring Tuffet.
The 26-year-old forward scored 13 goals and eleven assists in 62 games for Ajoie last season. He had been part of the organisation since 2014, but had already played for them from 2009 to 2012. (mso)
