HC Red Ice has found a second import player for the upcoming season. The 24-year-old Swedish forward Jacob Berglund will join Martigny. He has signed a one-year contract.
Berglund, who played in the North American WHL from 2009 to 2011, spent the past two seasons in Norway, playing for Storhamar. Despite a valid contract with them for the upcoming season, the 24-year-old will now move to Martigny.
Last season, Berglund played 56 games for Storhamar and managed to score 76 points (33 goals and 43 assists). (bsc)
