As EHC Visp announces, Scott Beattie takes over the functions of Gil Montandon as head coach ad interim and team manager with immediate effect. Visp lost against last placed EHC Winterthur with 7-5 yesterday.
Team manager Gil Montandon took the position behind the benches of struggling EHC Visp during the course of this season from Kim Collins, who had been relieved of his duties.
Scott Beattie is no stranger in Switzerland, as he has already coached EHC Olten between 2012 and 2014 before he was fired in November of last year. (lcu)
