Luca Balerna will not play for the HCB Ticino Rockets next season

"I would like to play for the Rockets, but I cannot," the 30-year-old forward tells "Ticinonline". "We tried to work something out, but we did not find a solution." Balerna certainly knows the commitment of a professional contract since he played 69 games in the NLA and 79 NLB games from 2005 to 2010.

In 2010, he joined HC Chiasso and has since then played in the first league. It is possible that he will continue to play in this tier for GDT Bellinzona. (bsc)
