NLB - HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has signed last year’s backup goaltender Lionel Favre to a one-year contract extension. In the past season, the 24 year-old has started 14 games in the National League B.
With the departure of current starter Damiano Ciaccio (SCL Tigers), HCC is still trying to sign another netminder to join Favre for the upcoming season.
Until then, junior goaltender Maxim Mauerhofer will back up Favre and therefore be part of the extended roster for the next season.
