CEO Anders Olsen comments on the reasons for the Canadian's release on their website: "We had an agreement with the unemployment office, part of his salary was paid by them. This way we could afford a good player at low cost. [...] However, he has received an offer today that we can not compete with and that he can not refuse, because he would get in trouble with the unemployment office. His departure was inevitable."
Olsen adds that they are confident in their team right now and a third import-player is not necessarily needed, but he confirms that there are ongoing discussions about a possible replacement. Dominic Forget scored 59 points (25 goals, 34 assists) in 48 games for Visp and HCC last season.
