NLB - The two try-out players from Lausanne, Aurélien Marti and Vincent Le Coultre, have no future in Martigny. On the other hand, Arnaud Montandon (photo) has convinced the staff of Red Ice after a few weeks in try-out.
"We have enough players, especially young guys," Red Ice's coach Albert Malgin explained his decision of not keeping Aurélien Marti and Vincent Le Coultre, who both have joined the Valais for a try-out from Lausanne HC, to "Le Nouvelliste".
Arnaud Montandon, however, is a pleasant surprise so far and Red Ice will keep him on the team. The former player of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and son of Gil Montandon has been in try-out for a few weeks.
