NLB - HC Red Ice has decided to extend the contract with Adrien Plavsic. They have agreed to a one-year deal. He will thus stay in Martigny until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 45-year-old Swiss Canadian joined Red Ice last summer. The former defenseman, who played in 220 NHL games for the St. Louis Blues, the Vancouver Canucks and the Tampa Bay Lightning, had also already worked as an assistant coach for the now defunct EHC Basel Sharks. (mso)
