NLB - HC Ajoie’s forward Geoffrey Vauclair will retire from professional ice hockey at the end of this season, reports Le Quotidien Jurassien journalist Raffi Kouyoumdjian on Twitter.

Geoffrey, brother of HCL’s Julien and HCFG’s Tristan, has played with his youth club HC Ajoie in the National League B for the past four seasons. In his career, Vauclair has appeared in 388 games over 12 years in the highest Swiss league with HC Fribourg Gottéron and HC Lugano, scoring a total of 60 goals and 66 assists in the NLA.

In the 1998/1999 season, the forward could celebrate the Swiss championship title with HC Lugano and was also selected to play for the Swiss national team in that year’s World Championships.
