For the upcoming season, the GCK Lions reinforce their core of experienced players in order to clinch a playoff spot. Michael Liniger, Patrick Sidler, and Marc Geiger have all signed two-year deals.

The 36-year-old Michael Liniger joins the Lions from the Kloten Flyers. While playing for the GCK Lions, he will make the transition from player to youth coach within the ZSC/GCK organisation. Moreover, the GCK Lions also confirm the signings of HC Ambrì-Piotta's Patrick Sidler, 30, and EHC Visp's Marc Geiger, 29. All three have inked two-year deals.

In addition, the GCK Lions also inform that the two 20-year-old defensemen Xeno Büsser (Kloten Flyers) and Marvin Alena (Okanagan HC) return to the organisation. Which players are going to be added from the Elite-A team will be decided during the pre-season in August. (tme)
