Loïc Burkhalter has a turbulent season behind him. After falling in disgrace with his former team Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, he has played on loan for EHC Biel. But after the current season his time in the National League A will come to an end.
According to L'Impartial, the 34-year-old forward has signed a three-year contract until 2017 with his youth team HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the National League B. 18 years ago, Burkhalter launched his professional career with HCC. Since then, he has completed a total of 832 games in the highest Swiss league scoring 182 goals and 287 assists.
