The Latvian defender Maksims Sirokovs and the Danish international Kiril Starkov will form HC Red Ice’s import duo for the upcoming season. Both have agreed to new one-year deals.

Starkov, who had been involved in a sports betting affair prior to his arrival in the Valais, has now received a five game suspension and will therefore miss the first games of next season. The club management is currently looking into the possibility of hiring a third import forward.

Additionally, HC Red Ice has extended the contracts of Daniele Marghitola and Kilian Chaperon and also Patrick Faic, who had joined Red Ice via B-License last season. All three signed for another year.

Other announcements on the planning of next season can be expected soon as various discussions are currently close to being finalized, including the introduction of a new managing director of the club.
