Firstly, the Sharks sign Yves Morand to a one-year contract, which will last until 2015. The 19-year-old forward has scored 37 points in 33 games last season for the Elite A team.

Forwards Rony Spreyermann, 19, (46 points in 35 games) and Dominik Müller, 19, (32 points in 32 games), as well as defenseman Luca König, 18, (12 points in 36 games) have been signed to two-year contracts and will be part of the EHC Basel Sharks until 2016.

Some of these players have already participated in training sessions with the first team or even played a game in the National League B (Müller, König) and the team hopes that they will take the next step and move their career to the professional level.
