NLB - HC Red Ice and their 22-year-old defenceman Mathieu Maret have agreed on a contract extension for another season. Thus, Maret will wear the red and white jersey at least until 2015.

Mathieu Maret has signed his first contract with HC Red Ice in 2011 and has contributed to their promotion to the National League B in the same season. Since then, Maret has completed a total of 88 games for HC Red Ice in the NLB and has scored 22 points.
