ZSC Lions confirm the signing of David Rundblad to a one-year deal

The Swedish defenseman David Rundblad definitely returns to the ZSC Lions for the upcoming season. The Lions confirm that they have signed the 25-year-old as their fourth import-player.

Yesterday, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung already reported that David Rundblad is set to return to Zurich. Today, the Lions officialize the one-year deal with the Swede who has already suited up for them in the past season. He then returned to the Chicago Blackhawks, but his contract with the NHL organisation was soon to be dissolved.

For the Lions, Rundblad appeared in eleven regular season and four playoff-games last season and put up an impressive 16 points (2 goals, 14 assists). (tme)
