Bäumle joined the Lions in December due to the injuries of their goaltenders Lukas Flüeler and Urban Leimbacher. The 31-year-old started this season with the Kloten Flyers, when he served as injury-replacement for their backup Luca Boltshauser before he got a chance to step in for the Lions.

Furthermore, the Lions announced that forward Sven Senteler will stay with EV Zug until the end of this season. Senteler joined Zug in September for the start of the regular season. He will therefore not return to his youth team as he has already inked a contract with the Bulls for the 2016-17 season. This season thus far, he has appeared in 38 games for EVZ and managed to put up four points (one goal, three assists). (bsc)
