After the Kloten Flyers already fired five employees in the ticketing sector, they now turn to their NLA team. As Klaus Zaugg reports, they informed defenseman Timo Helbling, 34, that they are not able to fulfil their contract and that he has to find himself a new team.
As Zaugg further states, it is possible that Timo Helbling's current employer, SC Bern, might be interested in keeping the Swiss international. However, in all likelihood with a lower salary than Helbling would have earned in Kloten. (tme)
UPDATE In an updated version of his article, Zaugg now writes that Helbling will join EV Zug. Apparently, team manager Reto Kläy has signed the defenseman to a two-year contract. Helbling had already played for the Bulls from 2011 to 2013. (mso) - 08 April 2016, 15:15 PM
