5 games, 1 point, 12th place - not the start into the season that the SCL Tigers have wished for, for sure. In an interview with "Blick", Peter Jakob nevertheless clearly says that head coach Scott Beattie is not an issue. "Everything else would be absolutely unsound," Jakob says and adds: "What do you want to blame him for? He's a good guy, who works hard."
Also team manager Jörg Reber supports his president: "If Serge Pelletier wants to bring himself into play, he should do that. But we keep on working," the 42-year-old says to the same source.
Actually, they indeed seem to be working behind closed doors. As the "Berner Zeitung" writes, the board of directors met yesterday. Not to discuss about the coach, but probably to discuss the hiring of another import-player. As the same source writes, their fifth import-player would probably be another forward.
