Because of an alleged check to the head of HC Ambrì-Piotta's Sven Berger in yesterday's game, EV Zug's forward Reto Suri has been suspended for one game. Additionally, proceedings have been initiated.
As a consequence of this provisional suspension, Reto Suri will have to sit out the upcoming regular season game against Genève-Servette HC on Friday, January 29. The league will look into the case more closely and decide if further suspensions are appropriate. (tme)
