National League

NLA - The League's single judge has suspended SC Bern's Tristan Scherwey for a total of five games for violating IIHF rule 124iii (Checking to the head/neck area) in last Friday's game against LHC. In addition, he has to pay a fine of CHF 1,200.

Scherwey was ejected from the relevant game in the 14th minute of play, after he delivered an elbow to the head of Lausanne HC's Gaëtan Augsburger.

Because the 23-year-old forward was provisionally suspended already for the following clash against EHC Biel on Saturday, Scherwey has to sit out only four more games.
