Reto Suri close to signing another contract with Tampa Bay

Reto Suri had already signed a 2-year two-way-contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning starting in 2014/2015 this summer. But that contract had been voided because of a missing transfer agreement between the SIHF and the IIHF, which didn’t allow Suri to get out of his running contract with EVZ.

Now, Suri tells "RTS" that he had kept in contact with the organization of the Tampa Bay Lightning. "Some scouts came over to see me play last week and I could talk to the assistant general manager", Suri says in the interview. "A solution still has to be found with EV Zug, but I should be able to announce the signing of a new contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the upcoming days."
