Rapperswil-Jona Lakers extend contract with Anders Eldebrink prematurely

Eldebrink's name had been brought up in the discussions surrounding the succession of Sean Simpson. However, team manager Harry Rogenmoser did make clear that they were not planning on losing the Swede. He did keep his promise.

Anders Eldebrink has been part of the Laker's organisation since the 2013 playouts and received a contract until 2015. However, now he has signed on for an additional year, meaning that his contract will run through 2016.

Furthermore, assistance coach and former National League A player Michel Zeiter will also remain part of the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. His contract will last until 2016.

Lastly, goalie coach Reto Schürch will also stay on for an additional year. He has been with the Rapperswil-Jona Laker since 2012.
