NLA - Single judge Reto Steinmann has initiated proceedings against ZSC Lions’ Morris Trachsler for his check to the head of Genève-Servette HC’s Lennart Petrell in Tuesday’s game six of the Semifinals.
Furthermore, Steinmann has provisionally suspended the Lions’ forward for tonight’s all-decisive game in the Hallenstadion.
According to the single judge, Trachsler’s charge clearly violated the IIHF Rules 540 (Checking to the Head and Neck Area) and 527 (Excessive Roughness).
