Philipp Wetzel extends contract with EHC Biel for another two years

NLA - Forward Philipp Wetzel, whose contract with EHC Biel would have run out at the end of the upcoming season, has already signed a new deal that keeps him in Biel for another two years, through the 2017-18 season.

The 29-year-old is part of EHC Biel since 2007 and is going start into his ninth season with the Seelanders in September. As EHC Biel informs, it will definitely not be his last, as the forward has extended his contract prematurely until 2018.

Over the course of the last season, Wetzel scored eight goals and added nine assists for a total of 17 points in 52 appearances with EHC Biel. (tme)
