NLA - The League's single judge Reto Steinmann has suspended SC Bern's forward Simon Moser for a total of one game for his check against GSHC's Alexandre Picard. In addition, he has to pay a fine of CHF 500.-.
According to the League, Moser has violated IIHF Rule 124 iii (checking to the head and neck-area) after his charge against Genève-Servette HC's forward Alexandre Picard in last Saturday's clash at PostFinance Arena.
Because Moser has already served his one-game suspension this week, when SC Bern faced the SCL Tigers in the quarterfinal of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup, he will be allowed to scratch the ice again in Fribourg next Monday.
