NLA - EHC Biel announces that they have signed Nicolas Steiner to a one-year contract. He will thus stay with the team at least until the end of the 2014/15 season.
The 22-year-old defenseman joins EHC Biel from the SCL Tigers. Technically, he would have been signed to the Tigers until 2015, but he had an out-clause for the National League A worked into his contract, which he now made use of.
Nicolas Steiner scored 13 points in 61 games for the SCL Tigers this season and was an important part of the Tigers' defensive core. His contract with EHC Biel will run through 2015.
