Sieber, a product of HC Davos' youth organisation, made his NLA debut during the 2011-12 season and has since then appeared in a total of 201 games in Switzerland's highest League, scoring eleven goals and 16 assists for 27 points.
This term so far, the native of Widnau was able to put of two points (one goal, one assists) in a total of 14 games.
In other news, according to the same source, HCD's Slovakian import-defender Jan Brejcak is feared to be out for a longer time. The 26-year-old is sidelined with an undisclosed injury since mid-December. (rlu)
UPDATE As EV Zug informs, Lukas Sieber's move from Davos to Zug has been part of a trade deal between the two clubs. Sieber joins EV Zug in exchange for defender Marco Forrer, 19, who will stay in the Landwassertal at least for the remainder of the season. Furthermore, the same-aged defenseman Silvio Schmutz, who has been playing on loan with HC Davos since October last year together with Forrer, will return to Zug with immediate effect.
