Janick Schwendener expected to return to Davos in the course of this week

Because GSHC's first netminder Robert Mayer has returned to duty after his ankle injury already for tonight's Swiss Ice Hockey Cup and Christophe Bays' recovery from his bronchitis seems to be imminent, Schwendeners great services he delivered as replacement are no longer needed at the shores of lake Geneva.

With the Grenats, Schwendener has completed a total of nine Championship games, in which he had a Goal Against Average (GAA) of 2.43 and a Save Percentage (SVS%) of 92,4%. Furthermore, he was part of GSHC's Spengler Cup team (4 games), with whom he was able to celebrate the title in the end.
