High noon for EHCB's Oliver Kamber - Offer from another team stands until today

EHC Biel wants to extend Oliver Kamber's contract and most recently offered him a new two-year deal, although they initially only wanted to sign him for one more year. Kamber, however, also seems to be demanding a raise. As the Journal du Jura speculates, the other team interested in signing the 35-year-old might be HC Ambrì-Piotta.

What is clear, however, still according to the Bieler Tagblatt, is that EHC Biel have agreed to terms with Dave Sutter. HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' 22-year-old defenseman will reportedly sign a two-year contract with the Seelanders. (tme)

UPDATE "We made our offer," HC Ambrì-Piotta's head coach Serge Pelletier confirms their interest in an interview with Ticinonews. "We have not set a deadline. There are also other teams interested in Kamber." - 16 January 2015, 11:18 AM.
