As the SIHF announces, they have issued a one-game suspension to HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Yannick Rathgeb. Additionally, he will have to pay a fine of CHF 1,000.-.
The 21-year-old defenseman has been suspended due to "Slew Footing" Genève-Servette HC's Nathan Gerbe in the 39th minute of play in the game against the Grenats on January 24. Footage of the incident can be watched here.
