HCD's Dino Wieser and EVZ's Björn Christen both suspended for tonight

This could of course indicate that there will be a longer suspension ahead for the 34-year-old forward. The EVZ player checked HC Ambrì-Piotta's Reto Kobach to the head last night. Kobach had to leave the game after this incident in the second minute of play and likely suffered a concussion.

As for Dino Wieser, he checked Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Nils Berger from behind into the boards. Initally, the HC Davos forward was given a game misconduct penalty for this offence, but the single judge deceided to turn it into a match penalty, thus giving Wieser an automatic one game suspension.
