As HC Lugano announces, they have extended the contract of Patrick Fischer. His original contract would have lasted until the end of this season. He is now signed until the end of the 2017-18 season.
The 40-year-old former forward took over as head coach of the Bianconeri in 2013, but started working in the organisation in 2010 after the end of his professional hockey career. His contract will be valid until April 30, 2018.
Furthermore, Lugano will also start negotiating with assistant coach Peter Andersson in the hope that they are going to be able to extend his contract as well. (mso)
