The "Corriere del Ticino" confirmed last weekend that Ryan Wilson would definitely have to leave the Bianconeri. Two days ago, Lugano's president Mantegazza confirmed to the same source that Tony Mårtensson would also not return to Lugano; Patrik Zackrisson's future, on the other hand, is still uncertain. Consequently, the Bianconeri are looking for suitable replacements.
Lajunen played for Tappara Tampere in the Finnish Liiga in the last term. His contract with them has expired, but HC Lugano is not the only team interested in signing him. As the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti reported a week ago, Jokerit Helsinki had also cast an eye on him. This past term, the 26-year-old appeared in 68 games for Tappara, scoring 16 goals and 24 assists.
Defender Jonas Holøs played for Färjestad BK of the SHL in the past two seasons. His contract has also expired and he could thus join the Bianconeri next term. The 29-year-old, who has played in several leagues including the KHL, NHL, and AHL, played 58 games for Färjestad this past season and registered 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists).
