HC Fribourg-Gottéron cuts ties with Petteri Wirtanen

NLA - HC Fribourg-Gottéron has decided not to extend Petteri Wirtanen's contract, which was set to last until today. Thus, the Finn will leave the National League A, as sport.ch reports.

The 28-year-old center was signed at the beginning of Sepetmber as an injury replacement and has since then stayed on the roster due to the Dragons' unability to stay healthy. Wirtanen scored six points (one goal, five assists) in 13 games.
