According to the "Berner Zeitung", SC Bern's team manager Alex Chatelain has been in contact with Lukas Frick as well as Joel Vermin and Yannick Weber. None of these players, however, seems to be interested in joining the Bears.
EHC Kloten's 21-year-old defenseman Lukas Frick (photo) has reportedly been contacted by the Bears. Frick, however, has a valid contract with Kloten until the end of the 2016-17 season and apparently will stay there despite the new owner.
Moreover, Yannick Weber does not consider it an option to return to Switzerland. He would like to stay in North America and find a new team there. The same also seems to apply to Joel Vermin, as the same source further reports. (bsc)
