"We have looked at different options, but at the end we came to the conclusion that Earl is the best fit for our team. He can play center and wing, is physically strong, fast and a scorer," says team manager Reto Kläy about the reasons for Earl's extension.
The 29-year-old forward joined EVZ last November, after he had been released by the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in October. However, technically he played on loan with EVZ, because his contract with the Lakers would have been valid until 2016. Yesterday, their contract was finally dissolved.
Robbie Earl scored 33 points (14 goals, 19 assists) in 37 games for the Bulls last season. He will now stay with the team until the end of the 2014/15 season.
