NLA - As EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy confirms to the Neue "Luzerner Zeitung", he has a list of ten interesting import-players in the drawer. One of them is the Finnish center Jarkko Immonen. Robbie Earl's time in Zug might be over.

As the Neue "Luzerner Zeitung" writes, there won't be a decision in the case of Robbie Earl until the end of the season. Apparently, the 29-year-old American would like a raise but is not likely to get it from EV Zug. In addition, Zug is looking at the profiles of ten other possible import-players.

One of them, as EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy confirms to the same source, is the Finnish center Jarkko Immonen. Since 2009-10, the 32-year-old has played in the KHL. This season, he has put up 38 points (16 goals, 22 assists) in 55 games for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. Immonen, however, also seems to be in contact with HC Ambrì-Piotta, as "La Regione" reports.

Moreover, EV Zug is still looking for a replacement for Fabrice Herzog, who will leave the Bulls for Zurich at the end of term. But they no longer seem to be interested in HCD's Sven Ryser. In addition, defenseman David Stämpfli, 24, will not get a contract extension and has to leave Zug. (tme)
