Asked about talks with teams about next season, the 26-year-old Austrian says: "I have not thought about it a lot yet. [...] But we have already had some talks. I always get offers from Austria but it is my goal to remain in the NLA. I would not mind staying with Biel but then my role in the team needs to be accordingly."
Furthermore, Manuel Gossweiler, 31, who just recently played in his 500th NLA game, would like to stay with the Seelanders, as he tells the Journal de Jura: "I have not much to say [about next season]. Biel is a beautiful town with a good team and good fans. I would like to stay. If they do not want me anymore, it would be a pity, but it would not be the end of the world either."
Herburger joined EHC Biel in summer 2013 from Klagenfurt and is currently in his last contracted season with the Seelanders. This year, he has scored seven goals and five assists in 33 games for them. Gossweiler, however, is currently in his ninth season with EHC Biel and has two assists in 22 games to his name this season so far. His contract expires at the end of this season. (mso)
