Macenauer joins the Seelanders as a replacement for injured Canadian Ahren Spylo. The 26-year-old forward last played for the Montreal Canadiens' AHL affiliate the Hamilton Bulldogs and put up six goals and four assists in 47 games for the Bulldogs last season.

If the necessary permits arrive in time, Macenauer will make his debut with EHCB already on Friday. (lcu)
