EHC Biel's doors are open for Colorado Avalanche goalie Reto Berra

"We are on the lookout and in regular contact with him. Should he decide to return to Switzerland, we certainly have the possibility to raise our financial capacity  He is an exceptional case", tells the Seelanders' head coach Kevin Schläpfer "Le Matin". He also has a deal with Berra that in case of his return, he will inform EHC Biel first, so the team can react swiftly.

However, the finances might just be the crux of it. Team manager Martin Steinegger admits that it would not be a thing of impossibility to sign the netminder but it would depend on the market. If there is going to be a bidding war, EHC Biel will likely be on the outside looking in. (mso)
