EHC Biel presents net loss of CHF 172,000 for the 2014-15 season

Thanks to their move into the brand-new Tissot Arena, EHC Biel is able to count on more sponsors and donors. Furthermore, their new stadium allows the club to benefit from more lodges which will raise the earnings, too.

In view of the upcoming 2015-16 season, the Seelanders clearly target the participation at the playoffs, as vice president Stéphanie Mérillat told the media today: "For the first season in the new Arena the playoffs would be the most beautiful gift for us."

Moreover, the EHC Biel's leadership announced that the club was able to sell nearly 5,000 season tickets up to now. As a reminder, the Tissot Arena has a capacity of 6,521 spectators. (rlu)
