The 28yr-old defender made his National League A debut with the ZSC Lions in season 2004/2005.
Since then, Schnyder has completed a total of 464 NLA games, in which he scored 47 points (9 goals, 38 assists). Together with his team-mates, he was able to celebrate the win of the Swiss Championship in 2008 and 2012, as well as the Champions Hockey League in 2009.
