NLA - EV Zug can count on their defenseman Santeri Alatalo for another two years. The Finnish defenseman with a Swiss players' license has inked a new contract with the Bulls through to the 2016-17 season.
EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy is happy about the signing of the 24-year-old, which he deemed to be one of their main priorities: "He can play on a high level in all kinds of situations and has not reached his full potential yet."
So far, the son of GCK Lions coach Matti Alatalo has completed a total of 106 games in the National League A for HC Davos and EV Zug. Since joining Zug in 2013, he scored four goals and 15 assists in 66 games.
