Canadian forward Max Macenauer in try-out with EHC Biel

EHC Biel announces that they are giving Max Macenauer an opportunity to present himself to the club. He arrived today and has a week to convince the Seelanders of his qualities.

The 26-year-old forward last played for the Montreal Canadiens' AHL affiliate the Hamilton Bulldogs. Drafted in the third round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Anaheim Ducks, he was never able to make it to the NHL full time, only appearing in 29 games for the Ducks (one goal, three assists). Last season, he put up six goals and four assists in 47 games for the Bulldogs. (mso)
