The contract negotiations with the 58-year-old have been ongoing throughout the 2014-15 season, but Del Curto was not ready to commit to anything before the end of the Championship. Now, he has agreed to a one-year contract and will thus stay until the end of the 2015-16 season, his 20th behind the bench of HC Davos. (mso)
UPDATE As Dino Kessler ("Blick") reports, Arno Del Curto has denied that he has signed a contract: "Whether have I negotiated nor have I signed [with the team]. However, as he told "Blick" further, if he will sign it will be only for a year: "Too much has happened last year. If one does not listen to me anymore, I can leave immediately [this way]."
In an interview with "Watson".ch though, Del Curto offers another view. While he has not signed yet, he will stay with Davos: "Yes, I promised Gaudenz Domenig [to stay] and I will keep that promise. (...) However, it will be only for a year." - 30 April 2015, 01:53 PM
