Not attending the camp on the other hand will be SCB's Philippe Furrer, who has to pass due to injury and Simon Moser (Milwaukee Admirals/Nashville Predators), who had earned his first call-up to the NHL team last week end.
Furthermore, Martin Gerber, who was injured at the Arosa Challenge will also not join the team. No replacement for him will be added for the camp.
The nomination of a player that is currently on the 'sidelist', meaning the extended roster, does not have to be made until February 10. For that reason, Goran Bezina, who figures on that list, has decided not to attend the training camp.
The team will travel to Sochi on February 6 and will be joined by the NHL players four days later. The Swiss national team will start their mission at the Olympics with the first game on February 12 at 9 p.m.local time (6 p.m. in Switzerland).
Roster for the training camp in Kloten:
Goaltender (2): Flüeler Lukas (ZSC Lions), Stephan Tobias (Genève-Servette HC)
