National Team

SUI - Will he stay with the Swiss national team or is he going to sign with another team? Sean Simpson didn’t want to talk about it yet, but will take a decision in the next ten days.

Since the 2010 World Championship, Sean Simpson coaches the Swiss national team. At the end of the current season, this era could come to an end. In an interview with the Südostschweiz, Simpson said that he likes to be the Swiss national coach, “but I am also a coach who loves the daily business with a club-team.”

Thus, Simpson is currently contemplating if he wants to extend his contract as coach of the Swiss national team: “I will take a decision in the next ten days”, he said. How his decision is going to turn out is still completely written in the stars. If he should decide to leave the national team, he could wind up with the Adler Mannheim in the DEL, who are highly interested in signing the 53-year-old.
