Florence Schelling nominated as "2014 Team Sportswoman of the Year"

The 25-year-old native of Zurich, who is currently playing with the men's team of EHC Bülach in Switzerland's first League, was named "Most Valuable Player" of the 2014 Olympic Women's Hockey tournament in Sochi, after she led her Swiss girls (total of 255 saves on 279 shots) to their first Olympic bronze medal in history.

Voting runs from August 25, 2014 to 11:59 pm (EST) on September 8, 2014. The Winners will be announced at the 35th Annual Salute to Women in Sports Gala on October 15, 2014, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
